Co-captains to Lead Brisbane Lions in 2023
Harris Andrews and Lachie Neale Appointed
The Brisbane Lions have announced that Harris Andrews and Lachie Neale will be the club’s co-captains for the 2023 season. The duo replace Dayne Zorko, who stepped down from the role at the end of the 2022 season.
Andrews is a two-time All-Australian defender and has been a key figure in the Lions’ backline since making his debut in 2015. Neale is a three-time All-Australian midfielder and won the Brownlow Medal in 2020.
Bre Koenen Named Premiership Captain
Another Accolade for Brisbane Lions Star
In addition to the co-captaincy appointments, the Brisbane Lions have also announced that Bre Koenen will be the club’s premiership captain for 2023. Koenen is a two-time premiership player with the Lions and was a key figure in their victory in the 2023 Grand Final.
